Initial professional development for registration
Thinking about CEng, IEng or EngTech but not sure where to start?
If your goal is to work towards professional registration and you do not feel that you will be ready to submit an application within the next year then you can let us know and register for our initial professional development service.
Initial professional development is the initial learning and development period for members who wish to use the IET as a guideline to aid their career and training to develop skills and knowledge required for professional registration. The initial professional development period allows for good habits to be developed which can then be transferred in to the period of continuing professional development, where the focus is then placed on maintaining and enhancing the competences gained during the initial professional development period.
