Power Academy
To find out whether you qualify for an IET Power Academy scholarship please read the information below:
You can apply for a Power Academy scholarship if you:
- Have an offer to study an IET accredited* MEng or BEng Electrical, Electronic or Power Engineering course at Bath, Cardiff, Imperial College London, Strathclyde, Manchester, Southampton or Queens University, Belfast or are already studying on one of these courses or thinking of switching.
- Qualify for the home/EU tuition fees (scholarships are not available to students who pay tuition fees at the international level).
- Do not hold sponsorship with any other organisation
The selection process – what are we looking for?
- Applicants who have achieved three good grades at A’ Level (or equivalent) including Mathematics and Physics.
- Good communicators who can demonstrate planning and problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a team.
Am I obliged to work for the sponsoring company upon graduation?
Although Power Academy graduates are encouraged to work for the sponsoring company, following graduation, this is not compulsory.
